Need more toe room and cushion

"I bought these for a convention event after hearing the cost was worth the investment due to their reputation. Standing for 8+ hours these flats came up short, up front I need mode toe room so my toes weren’t scrunched together and instead could spread out comfortably and the cushion wasn’t sufficient for long day wear as the day progressed it felt as though I was barefoot."

Trouble finding the right size

"Had to return them - I love the style but found that my regular size was wayyy too big, these are def not TTS. Hesitant to try half a size smaller because sending them back costs me 10 euros. Had the same issue earlier this year with the Cruiser Mary Jane - half a size smaller was still not ideal, it rubs the big toe of my right foot (but I kept those anyway). Having said all that: I do love the look of these!"

The new inserts don't work for me

"I had read posts from people saying the "new" flat with its insert don't work for them, so I ordered with trepidation and fingers crossed. Sure enough! The insert raised my foot up too high in the shoe so that it was uncomfortably tight. I solved it by taking out the new inserts and putting in a pair from another of my Rothy shoes. Problem solved! I have been waiting and waiting for a plain "brown" shoe and I really love this color."

"You brought back a similar pattern of my first and favorite Rothy’s shoe, Birdseye. The Salt Air pattern goes with so many clothes in a smart-looking way. And now there is the soft-pink back strip of color and matching dots on the sole, pretty doggone fun!!!!"

Almost Perfect

"These flats are cute and polished but I wouldn’t call them comfortable. I wore them for a work trip and by the end of every day my feet ached. Rothy’s also needs to offer a wide width flat to avoid the toe scrunch. I haven’t washed these yet so I am not able to speak to that feature."

Incredible!

"I took a break bc my feet could not do anymore, this support is better & I travel with the tennis shoes bc I am the youngest 96+ year old feet! I got in a bad car wreck & was in a 6 week coma where I flexed my feet as if I was a ballerina in 2003! I am a retired 45 traveling nomad chasing the oysters in a Bohemian style thanks to Rothy’s! I wear my Anthropologie skirts with beautiful colors to coordinate down to my toes! Thank you & keep improving as I age or might I suggest a Travelers Moccasin (UGZ like…) almost? for car or plane & qwik dog walks so a rubber sole is appreciated! I ordered 12.5 bc i have a wide big foot & im a full size true 11-11.5 (w), I am 5’10 now prob.."

"These shoes do not fit my right foot; also I mistakenly thought the little dots on the bottom were rubber so they would grip. I was trying to get down to Seattle (from Bellingham) to return them but I've not had any opportunity, so I will be mailing them back -- thanks."

Switched to daily flat and loved them!

"I previously wore the pointed flat and they were too tight around the front of my foot and by the end of the day I was walking funny. The Daily Flat is wider and was comfortable the entire day. I did size up a half size for extra room, but probably didn't need it like I did on the pointy flat."

No longer my favorite shoe

"I own several pairs of these shoes, all size 8. I ordered two new pairs in size 8, and they are significantly larger. I wore a pair today and it just rubbed the back of heel all day. Why did the sizing change??? Also the new insoles don’t seem like they are machine washable so not sure what to do when they wear out. The new soles are also quite slippery on hardwood floors. Honestly I want the old versions back. And why doesn’t it allow me to post photos with my review to show the size difference?"
